Scraps ...

Here's what I was working on on Thursday:

Rebekah has started a project where you can send her any knitted block or whatever for a giant blanket for her friend's husband. I'm loving this project! I've been able to get rid of so much of my scrap yarn and had fun trying out new stitch patterns too!

Poor Pam. And I loved how Jim was asked what would he do if Pam was interested ... even the camera crew is like "get together already"! I also loved Toby's date and how excited he was when she caught the bouquet!

Second Time Around

Since my first project with the boucle form Big Lots was such a disaster, I've decided to knit wash/dish clothes. Here's a picture of the one I started during The Office and finished last night.

About the episode...Poor Pam. It must of been hard for her to sit through her wedding but with different people. I'm surprised that Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration, didn't clock Michael.

New Promo!

Do you guys read Office Tally? Sometimes it drives me nuts (like they wouldn't publicize this here knitalong!) but they have the best tips about future episodes and where the stars are going to be. There are now 3 promos for "Phyllis' Wedding" that you might want to watch - the 3rd one especially!

Tuna Afgan

I just watched Thursday's episode. Hilarious!! Jim cracks me up. I loved that he tried to convince Dwight that it was the real Thomas Jefferson. LOL.

One of the attorneys I work with is having a baby in May. I have been trying to rack my brain on what kind of baby blanket to make. Finally, I saw this.... Fish. I thought I could knit them during lunch hours and on the train. The perfect Office project. In keeping with The Office theme...I thought I would call it the Big Tuna Blanket.

Sooo ...

What did you think? Poor Pam. Not only does she get confronted by Karen about Jim (why?), but then Jim acts like he did her a "favor" by playing a joke on Michael and ordering a non-stripper for the bachelorette party. I loved her comment to Ryan, too. Other that that, I thought the episode wasn't all that great. Oh well, the last two have been amazing so I'll give them a pass for now.

I worked on my latest sweater, and hope to have a picture later.

Dishrags

I've been meaning to knit dishrags with some stray white cotton yarn in the cupboard. No more accidently bleaching the colored ones. Now if I only could get away with knitting at my office....
